The Places The Difference Lies

At this pre-election time I found it appropriate to really examine what we as Democrats stand for. Recently I’ve come across this post blaming the Bush administration as being anti-science doing everything possible to favor the interests of the business over those of the common good such as join the efforts to slow the process of global warming and many other things. It was always claimed that the Republicans stands for the businesses while the Democrats stands for the individual. I’m sure that much more encouragement to the scientific research and to the teaching of science would be possible in a Nation with Clinton or Obama as presidents. I don’t think it is the ideology really just the different focus. Lets remember this as another reason to replace the Bush administration with a more enlighten one.
