Figaro, that isn't all that surprising. Bush is a Nixonian Republican, and hardly a Republican in the mold of Goldwater or even Reagan. As congressional elections approach this year, and the presidential one in 2008, genuine, non-former leftist Neocon conservatives, are coming to grips with where things have gone, and realize they will need to fight for their values to get someone who won't sell them out.
Bush is likely to have approval rating of below 50% by the end of the year amongst non-Neocon conservatives.
