AL GORE PREDICTS END OF CIVILIZATION

Former Vice President and the failed presidential candidate (still stings, doesn't it Al?) who couldn't even carry his home state is globetrotting all over the world pimping his new movie about global warming. It's called 'An Inconvenient Truth' and is based on Gore's rantings about the environment. Anyway, at a speech the other day in the UK, Gore made his most dire prediction to date: he called global warming a 'danger which could bring the end of civilization.'

That's right, Al Gore has predicted the end of the world. Global warming is now such a pressing issue that if we don't do something soon, we're all going to die. Maybe we'll die in hurricanes! Gore says that these nasty hurricanes of late are all the fault of global warming. Yeah ... they're all due to the one degree rise in the temperature of the Atlantic Ocean waters off the Western coast of Africa. Now never mind that this one degree rise could, according to scientists, only account for a 10% increase in a hurricane's winds. That would take a 120 mph wind and raise it to 132 mph. Oh yeah, we're all gonna die! And never mind that the technology used to measure those waters off the African coast was so antiquated that the data itself is in question. We just must take it as an article of faith that all that is bad with the weather anywhere in the world is due to global warming. Al Gore says so. Now does Al Gore really want an 'inconvenient truth?' How about this one, Al. The sun is hotter! That's right, the sun has been burning brighter and hotter for the last few decades. Now you don't suppose that could have anything to do with the warming of the Earth's atmosphere do you, Al baby?

You seem to think this is some political slogan. He is just relaying what the scientists are telling him.

“Humanity is conducting an unintended, uncontrolled, globally pervasive experiment whose ultimate consequences could be second only to global nuclear war.” ~ Environment Canada (The Canadian equivalent of the EPA)

Next time little George gets that far away look in his eyes you'll know. <wink>

For starters the word rapture appears nowhere in the bible. Its only a looney evangelical pet phrase kooks like Robertson and Farwell blubber.

Stop and think for a second. If the rapture were real, at the instant of Christ's return you'd see idiots like Bush, Robertson and Farwell along with their looney flock rising up into the clouds to meet Jesus.

If that happened, I think Jesus would turn around and never come back.

You haven't seen the look in Bush's eye as he holds hands with Saudi oil sheiks? How about the look of contentment he showed as he was hugging 'Jeff Gannon'?

George Bush Jr.'s Religious Beliefs.
http://www.beliefnet.org/story/121/story_12112_1.html

This Beliefnet.org article discusses his religious beliefs in terms of Wesleyan and Calvinist influences. Bush sometimes identifies as Epsicopalian, Methodist or Baptist. He had a religious experience in 1986 at age 39 with Billy Graham that convinced him to completely stop drinking. This is an obvious lie. You can see this video of him drunk at Jamie Weiss's wedding in 1992.

On the tape he, disses people who don't drink or smoke marijuana as 'boring'. He also belongs to two Satanic cults, the Skull & Bones Society http://mindprod.com/politics/ bushbooksskullandbones.html#SKULLANDBONES and the Bohemian Grove. He opens all his meeting with public prayer, and quotes the Bible extensively in his public speeches. His defence philosophy is certainly not inspired by the Sermon on the Mount.

Bush does not attend church, citing security concerns.
