Obama Works To Unify The Party

I’ve read some commentators saying that since Obama got the nomination most of the initiative on the debates on the important issues was left in the hands of McCain, after I gave it some thought I realize that they are right.

Obama is working on the important work of preparing the Democratic party for the elections.

Much has been done, the decision not to take the public funds, the understanding with Clinton on her work with the potential voters, the meeting with the mayors that supported Hilary Clinton until recently to gain their support and much more that we don’t see in the news.

The result is that not enough attention is given to the current issues and it seems that McCain has all the initiative but remember that all this would change in a day when the preparations are over.

Obama never tended to participate in debates if he saw no advantage in doing so and the results indicate that his strategy is working, he avoids being on the reacting side and this is an important quality for a leader.
