There is little proof that global warming is actually happening but lets play this game of what if and say it is. What proof is there that mankind has had any part in it? Volcanoes routinely belch out more CO2 then all the combined emissions by mankind and yet we aren't having to wear SPF 99 sun screen to go outside. Iceland is colder now then it was 400 years ago, go figure. The climate models liberals use to show what will happen if global warming happens have been wrong on past temperatures, wrong on current temperatures but we're supposed to believe they're accurate 100 years in the future.
If the issue that humans are responsible for global warming then there needs to be a pattern established. What caused the dust bowl? We didn't have as many cars back then, or factories, and we didn't have catalytic converts either but the earth didn't warm up then. Ice cap depletion does not prove that humans are responsible. It only means we're present when it happened.
People that believe that by America alone changing and conforming to this unproven hypothesis will save the world are the enemy. Who is going to make developing countries in Africa, or India, or China, adhere to the standards they want the US to follow?
