WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Federal agents conducted searches on Friday at the office and home of the man who just resigned his post as the CIA's third-highest ranking official, a federal law enforcement source said.

The CIA official, Kyle 'Dusty' Foggo, has been under investigation by the CIA's inspector general, the FBI, the Internal Revenue Service and the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, in a contracting scandal, the source said.

The search warrants were sealed, and the source declined to give any details about the searches.
