I can’t read anymore the whole Michigan and Florida primaries discussions, it is really so annoying that I decided to clarify the development of the events and see what comes out of it.

  1. DNC committee set rules for this years primaries.
  2. Michigan and Florida ignored the rules and run the primaries.
  3. The two states were sanctioned and it was decided that the primaries that were held there won’t count. Clinton agreed with the decision at the time.
  4. Clinton realizes that she is not winning the primaries as she thought she would and she starts talking about the two states again.
  5. The DNC would have to decide on the appeal on the decision to exclude the votes from Florida and Michigan either directly or indirectly by demanding that the 55 uncommitted delegates from Michigan won’t be able to support Obama.
  6. Everyone gets a severe headaches and tell Clinton she can’t really change her position now and there is really no way that the appeal would be approved.
  7. Obama gets the nomination.

It is really ironic that if Clinton was not so sure of her victory back then she wouldn’t have ruined her chances for the nomination.

If you need reminders of Clinton support of the original decision check here and here.
