Regarding this so-called plan. The first thing that popped into my mind and the thing I wrote about in this forum were questions. What were the chemicals and could they be detonated with common household devices etc.? The answer is clearly no.

Now we learn the entire plot was unfeasible and most likely another attempt by the Bush government to terrorize us just days after pro war candidate Joe Lieberman lost the Democrat primary.

But this isn't the first time. On 911 the Bush White House concocted a lie about a 'credible threat' to Air Force One. They kept this lie going for weeks. In fact it wasn't years later when the 911 report came out that we learned it was all hype. What small threat there was was simply a mistake and it was uncovered within hours. But the Bush White House felt the need to conspire and lie to Congress and the American people about this non-existent threat. Conspiracy theory? No, fact!

It appears the entire war on terror is based on one conspiracy theory after another. We were told Iraq had WMD. But, was it true? No. It was a conspiracy dreamed up by the Bush White House so it could take us to war for no reason.

No, not fact. I don't recall anybody talking about using our planes for such a purpose before 911; it wasn't even a thought. The only thing that is a fact is that people are still sneaking things onto planes, the most recent was dynamite.

No, it certainly was feasible because several arrests have been made. And in contrast to all Government security departments, you posted one opinion and NOT fact. Now think about what you just posted above. If you were Bush, and wanted to create this plot to favor Lieberman, would you have not made these arrests BEFORE the election and not after? Besides the fact that many people will forget about this event long before election time and it won't change one vote.

The problem with you Democrats, Liberals and Bush haters in general is that you want instant results. You people have no patients. If we go to war, you want it to be over within a month. When arrests were made in Enron, you wanted people locked up the next week. When Bush instituted tax cuts, you people were out here complaining a month later that nothing has changed in our economy and if anything, it got worse. When Bush learned about 911, he didn't jump up and run down the halls screaming, he calmly exited the classroom.

So why don't we see how this plays out before you claim victory. Let's see if the courts find a 'conspiracy' theory be it Bush, Blair or a larger group of people. Let's see if the courts find that these people were indeed planning an attack. And if not, then toot your horn.

Here's another fact, and that is there has not been a successful attack on US soil since 911. And if you're going to call Bush a liar about WMD's in Iraq, then be prepared to call Hillarious a liar, Bill a liar, John F Kerry a liar, Al Gore a liar, because they and many other Democrats all made the same allegations about Saddam before Bush even took office. In fact, Rush Limbaugh just played a string of Democrats making these statement on Thursdays show, so perhaps he still has it on his web site somewhere for you to listen.

Now the only 'fact' about these WMD's in Iraq is that they weren't there when we got there. But to say it's a fact that Saddam destroyed them is just as silly as saying it's a fact that he had them moved to Syria. It's not a fact, it's s possibility. But here's a real fact for you revealed by your very own CNN, and that is Al-Zarqawi was in Iraq a year before we even invaded. You remember Al, don't you? The famous terrorist? Want another 'fact?' Our foreign intelligence still stands behind their findings of WMD's in Iraq even though they were not there when we went in.

I had read several articles mentioning that. One that stands out was in a news weekly. The author listed a number of simple ways of carrying out terror attacks and included was the idea of flying airliners into buildings.

I know he stopped flying commercial at the time but I don't think he was instructed to do so as much as he was paranoid that he'd be on a hijacked plane.
